IRON GIANT back on the big screen?
Hey all. And by all I mean, few if any at all.
There is a theater in the LA/Thousand Oaks area that has midnight showings of classic flicks, like Blazing Saddels, Die Hard, and the like. Sadly, the cost of getting these movies for screenings is not as cheap as one would think, they might be old, but old doesn't mean cheap. To this, given the low turnout in many of these screenings, the owner of the theater is giving upon the Insomniac Cinema. Its not about the profit more than it is the cost of keeping it alive.
The Insomniac Cinema is going to have a screening of "THE FIFTH ELEMENT". A very underrated but great flick, and im sure many will agree. If you live or don't mind a drive to the Thousand Oaks area, stop by. Our main goal to get his thing going, is to get some animated films screened. I don't know, how many of you may have seen "The Iron Giant" at the big screen. I DIDN'T, and this is on my list of things to do before I DIE. So help me scratch it off my list by supporting The Insomniac Theater running.
